First RICARICA charging point for electric vehicles installed at the Carcare Est service area.
RICARICA SRL, a FERA group company dedicated to providing state of the art services for sustainable mobility, and Autogrill, on 18 January 2023, signed a development plan which will involve the installation of RICARICA charging stations along the A6 motorway section linking Turin and Savona, connecting the regions of Liguria and Piedmont.
The first ultra-fast RICARICA charging point for electric vehicles is already operational at the Carcare Est service area (Savona) going towards Turin.
The next service area that will have ultra-fast RICARICA columns will be Rio Ghidone Ovest (Cuneo), in the direction of Savona.
Electric car drivers can use RICARICA services either by paying directly with a credit card or a contactless prepaid card, or via Apps dedicated to this service, completely autonomously, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and can occupy parking spaces for as long as it takes to recharge their vehicle’s batteries.
“We are very motivated to helping our country, in line with the proposed European regulations, to achieve the ‘Fit for 55’ climate measures. – commented Cesare Fera, President of the FERA Group – This agreement fulfils a need identified by Autogrill and follows the opening of the first ‘multi-brand RICARICA station’ last summer in the strategic hub of Vado Ligure (SV), a crossroads for tourists, residents and electric trucks.
