New RICARICA Charging Station along the Brescia/Padova motorway

Ultra-fast A4 charging station close to the Garda Lake

Milan, 28 October 2024 – An ultra-fast 120 kW RICARICA charging station with CCS2 connectors is now operational in the area in front of the Montealto north Autogrill (Montealto west service area), in the province of Brescia between the Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda exits, in the direction of Milan.

The charging station can be activated with an RFID card or the Beagleplug App and is connected to the main Italian and foreign market operators. A payment can also be made by credit/debit card by tapping the EPOS.

After activating the Hpc columns on the A4, Brescia/Padova, in the Limenella East and Limenella West service areas (near the Padova west exit), and on the A6, Savona/Turin in the Carcare East (Savona) service area, a collaboration between RICARICA SRL, a FERA Group company dedicated to advanced services for sustainable mobility, and Autogrill continues.

“We are very happy with this collaboration with Autogrill,” said Ugo Salvoni, Project Manager at RICARICA, “and these new installations allow us to have an increasing presence along the Italian motorway network, especially in an area like Lake Garda, which sees an increase in foreign tourists, most of them driving electric cars”.

RICARICA SRL (www.ricarica.biz)
RICARICA, which supplies and installs charging systems for electric vehicles, is part of FERA, an Italian industrial group that since 2001 has been committed to producing electricity exclusively from renewable sources (wind, biomass and hydroelectric) in an efficient and sustainable way, in perfect integration with the territory and its communities. Entering the era of electric mobility in 2016 to support ‘pioneering’ drivers of electric vehicles in Italy, RICARICA’s innovative idea from the start was to provide a personalized service as a Charge Point Operator (CPO). In June 2023, the first public ‘RICARICA Station’ in Italy directly connected to a wind farm was inaugurated in Vado Ligure (SV), with columns of up to 350 kW for trucks and electric cars.

RICARICA thinks about tomorrow for future generations, believes in sustainability and innovation that improve the quality of life for everyone, globally.
